Looking for a last minute vacation. Nov 1st for 5 nights. Looking at RCI Wyndham Desert Blue, Worldmark Tropicana, and the Grandview all have the room for $300 with taxes. I have stayed at the Grandview before. It was okay. Out of the other two what would you suggest? Used up all my points this year so that's why I am looking via RCI for a cheap cash price.

I appreciate the suggestion.

If your intention is to spend most of your time on the Strip, the Wyndham Desert Blue would be the closest one. I think they offer a shuttle of some type to the Strip. It's the newest property of the three. When we drove by that location the other day it looked like another high rise building was being built next to Desert Blue. I don't know if it is another building for the property or something different.

The Worldmark Tropicana is a bit further away and seems more like an apartment complex, but it has decent reviews. I think they also offer a shuttle.

Desert Blue is beautiful and the newest. Pools are nice. Free afternoon Margaritas in the lobby when we were there. While it has the shuttle to Rio across the street and to Ceasers on the strip, it is not a comfortable walk to the strip .. kind of freeway and conduit type connectors. With Grand Desert you can walk up to the strip.
