Have a reservation here for a 1 bedroom. Was wondering the layout and size of the 1 bedroom. ALso how far a walk to the strip and do they offer transportation to the strip .

To get a good idea of the distance (which is just about two long blocks to the Strip), go to Mapquest, choose "get directions", and put in these two addresses:
265 E. Harmon Drive Las Vegas, NV 89109 (Grand Desert)
3730 las vegas boulevard south, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (Aria in City Center)
Pick the satellite view on Mapquest.
Yes, they do have a free shuttle to Harrah's on the Strip.

I don't know if posting links is allowed, but Google Image search "wyndham grand desert 1 bedrrom layout" and you'll see what you need...
It is two LONG blocks to the strip but I have walked it probably 25 times - its not bad at all (i couldn't do it today due to illness but that shouldn't apply to most guests). They do have a shuttle to Harrah's but waiting for it can chew up a lot of time we better used for a quick walk up the street to the strip.

They have a shuttle to Harrah's and I never had to wait to long. Another tip. Once at Harrah's you can to go the Rio (if you want to) and from there they have shuttles almost) everywhere. You are also very close to Ellis Island which is a friendly locals casino. Not flashy as all but has a good restaurant. Prime rib is good there (not Ruth Chris quality ) but good for the money.
