Presuming that things clear up by next Feb., we have four nights reserved at this resort. Has anyone stayed at this resort and if so, any hints on dining or any tips for our stay? Fingers crossed that we can go
We own there. The resort is located in the middle of restaurants and some high-end shopping. The beach is at the end of the street - about a block of so. Take Robert's Hawaiian Shuttle to and from the airport. Don't rent a car. Parking is very expensive. We rent a car for the day to drive around the island and go to Hickham AFB Commissary to buy groceries after our trip around the island. We turn the car in afterwards.
We love this resort. There are restaurants all around you. Be sure to walk over to the Moana Surfrider (white lady) and Royal Hawaiian hotels. They are beautiful historic hotels.
I was there in January and wrote a review. The location is in the middle of everything, all the nicest hotels nearby with good bars and restaurants. You don’t need a car. We took the city bus everywhere (including to/from the airport but you have to pack extremely light to do that).
Thanks everyone. Now I need the stars to align . We are 7 nights at the Marriott at Kaanapali on Maui, four nights in Wakiki, and four nights at Aulanai. Children and grandchildren included.
