has anyone ever seen where we can exchange into a 3 bedroom unit at DVC? Even with the new RCI system and higher points? I see 2 bedroom units but have never come across a 3 bedroom unit.

It's just because 3 bedrooms hardly ever get deposited. Even if they did, if anyone has an ongoing search request for a 3 br at DVC, it would go to them and never make it online. If you do happen to see one online, you can book it with the right amount of points.

I have seen a few, but only a very few. Obviously, they do not last long.

Kinda like Holiday Inn Orange Lake - River Island (Kissimmee FL), or Ron Jon Caribe (Port Canaveral FL). Either the owners don't put them on RCI, or if they do, they're grabbed immediately.

If my quick math is correct, there are only 106 3 BR's in the entire DVC inventory at WDW resorts. Several resorts have zero. So the starting inventory is very small to begin with, and that particular room is the pinnacle of DVC and in high demand in just about any season.
I'd think the likelihood of getting a DVC GV via RCI is close to zero.

I realize this thread is almost a month old but I have been seeing a number of 3 Br units for DVC at OKW and SSR for the summer and early Sept timeframe. All of these have been in the RCI points side but we don't know what makes it to the weeks side and is matched to existing requests but doesn't make it to the website.
