Has anyone booked these or gone on these. I saw this while snooping the site. Some of them seem really nice and have a lot of additional activities available.

Let me know if you liked it? If they did an owner update? If its legitimate? How many have you done?

i got called to go one - just the call to be invited to one turned into a high pressure "give me your credit card number" to book the trip - my "owner appreciation" was to cost me $250........

We did take one last year. It was a weekend in Las Vegas with the major attraction to see Barry Manilow. There was a reception on the first night; we did not attend because we were starving and wanted dinner, not just appetizers. We were told the next day the appetizers were so plentiful they were dinner. Miscommunication they called it.

Barry Manilow canceled Friday night, so we were assured we would be able to attend his show on Saturday night; he canceled that night also. The owner update was mandatory, as well as a mandatory sales presentation for our guests. Was it high pressure, of course!!! Did we buy more? No! Did our guests? No. Too well educated with all the info on Tug. Plus we were not told by the sales person this was a mandatory part of the package.

I realize Barry Manilow and other attractions are beyond the control of Worldmark, however, communication between the guests and the people involved with the party weekend was nonexistent even though they had our cell numbers. And I had to fight to get the points we were promised. Would we do it again...........NO!!!!

We did a party weekend in Las Vegas last August and it was a blast. We took our daughter and her fiance to see Celine Dion. Celine was at Ceasars Pallace. Our weekend included a two bed unit with a murphy bed so our son and his wife went with us just to party.

Our group of six hit some of the clubs and shows and stayed out until 3 am each nite. What a blast.

We recieved everthing we were told we would get including points and $50.00. I wanted to do the Figi party weekend this fall but cant find anyone who could get away for the trip. I also thought about the Elton John Party Weekend but had other plans.

The presentation was easy and all we talked about was fishing in Hawaii after a brief talk about the travel share program. My daughter shortened her presentation by telling the presenter that she didnt need a TS yet as her dad has a bunch allready.

So, if you see something you like, grab it up and go have some fun at the party week end.

Hmmm, still skeptical. Just getting tired of the sales pitches, so I may pass. Also I only got one positive response...not a good sign.

Just know that is exactly what they are....sales presentations...no one should go thinking otherwise.

We got called about this deal. The only one of the choices that was close enough to drive to was a Branson deal. I don’t remember the exact costs and shows but I do remember that dinner/cruise/entertainment on the Branson Bell was included. We had just done some of the very things that were being offered during a family reunion there in June so I knew the costs. The agent valued the two or three night stay for say $800 and it would cost us $295 or so to attend. The total package would cost more than the $295 to put together ourselves but somewhat less than the $800 or so “value” put on it by the agent. The actual sales presentation was to be optional but we would miss a meal if we did not attend.

I told the agent that the weekend for Branson would not work for our schedule. The next day he called back with a few other weekends at Las Vegas, somewhere on the Florida panhandle, Seattle and a couple other places. I listened to what all was part of the various weekends and they sounded pretty neat. I told the agent that I would have to calculate the price of gas and a motel room and meals just to get to the various places and call him back. He was trying hard to get me to commit to one of the trips and said that only so many couples could go and not to wait too long to decide. I calculated the costs to get to and from the weekends and it was cost inhibitive to us living in Oklahoma. I called his number and extension and left a message that we could not make any of the trips this year. That was about six weeks ago and I have not heard back from him. I would not rule out one of the weekends for Branson next year. If this leads to some pestering calls later I will be pretty upset but it seems like he pitched the deal, I declined, and he pretty well accepted that decision.

Yours sounds like their vacation gateway which is nothing but pure sale tour offer. Party weekend is a good way to burn a lot of your points. If you go on-line, you will see some of their offers. I believe it is now under "Adventures by Wyndham" session. It generally requires like 300k points for single.

Party weekend is more like planned sightsee tour for a city. It usually including some shows also. The owner update is usually light if I read right. IMHO, It is really depends on the overall schedule. And if you just want to be there without planning yourself, and without calling any travel agent to see what kind of deal you may get, and schedule is good, and nothing bad happen (like the main show get cancelled), this maybe O.K.
