TUGgers,

I started a thread over in the Hawaii section on the weather in Princeville -- I think its relevant for those considering visiting WPORV, and welcome thoughts and comments.

Have only been to Kauai once, in February, and it was blustery with intermittent rain almost every day, very few sunny days, and lots of clouds. We went to the southern end of the island one day during our stay, and it was totally the opposite - sunny, less wind, dry, and very WKORV-like. We had a room on the first floor right next to a small pool, so we were able to look outside, check for weather, then head out as soon as conditions allowed. When the rains came, we just stepped back inside! It was actually a great trip - just not the Maui-like conditions that we have always associated with trips to Hawaii.
