Are you serious!? Wow. Who the hell thought that was a good network architecture decision?!

Welcome to Hawai'i. Enjoy the beach. Leave the Internet toys at home... :)

But yeah...really short sighted stupid and quite possibly worthy of a networking worst design award.

But...but...but, how will I keep up on interesting TUG discussions while I'm on vacation?!? j/k

I actually *try* not to use my computer on vacation other than to look something up for the area, offload pics from the camera, or to Skype with my daughter. Outside of that, my ass is on vacation and the people at work can figure out how to survive without me till I get back. :D

I'm working a few half days since Im up at 5am and that coincides with my East Coast schedule. I have to sit around and wait for the woman and kid anyway..so whats a little work out on the lanai while sipping some coffee?

That is my typical internet time too. My gf goes to bed before me and wakes up after me, so I need to entertain myself. :)

I think my kids had the wifi router in their studio under the desk/table -- that might explain the 6th floor building 2 great reception they had. :) We did not use a router for their iThings.
