I use FareCompare.com to monitor specific cities that I want to fly to. Over the years, it has alerted me to some incredible deals -- Hawaii for $273, Italy for $400, and a variety of other locations for under $150: New York, Las Vegas, Orlando, Los Angeles, etc. It lets you specify varying degrees of flexibility -- totally open on the dates, fixed dates, specific cities, regions, etc.

YAPTA is a good one. If you've already booked a flight, it will still alert you, as some airlines will refund the difference to you. It will tell you which ones will accomodate that.
