I would like to exchange into a Hyatt with my tpu points.

I have two 27 point deposits.

Is it worth the $109 combining fee to set up an ongoing search? The Hyatt tpu will be between 24-34 points.

Does the rci search function work? Has anyone had any luck with a Hyatt search?

The Hyatt's in RCI are straight out hotel rooms. Nice hotel rooms in nice areas but not TS- no kitchen facilities (microwave, coffee maker, and small refrig only). If you want to stay there for 7 days it may be worth it. If you are looking to use it for 3-5 days (about our limit these days in a hotel) you might want to look into pricelining a 4 star hotel in the area and you might get the Hyatt or an equally nice hotel for less. Don't forget most Hyatt's in urban areas will have a parking fee of $20-$40 a day as well. You also need to be platinum for the hotels- just another expense to add in.
