I would turn into a pile of mush if I had the opportunity to listen to this gargantuan pipe organ live! They're restoring it, so this is only 60% of the organ's mammoth power. Do not listen to this on a cellphone or laptop speaker, put it on headphones or the best audio system you can get AND CRANK IT LOUD! Not to mention, this was recorded with a Samsung S21. On another video, this is Anna Lapwood, principal organist at Royal Albert Hall @ London UK, being blown away by the pipe organ.

Here's a video about the Wanamaker Organ.

Here's one of the concerts.

I worked at the Wurlitzer Corporate HQ in DeKalb IL in the late 70's when they built this beast from parts of other Wurlitzer theater organs:

The HQ was in an old parochial school and they assembled the organ in the chapel.

It was awesome when they had concerts at Christmas. I left the company in 1981. Wurlitzer fell on hard times and the HQ was sold and the organ was parted out.

We were able to tour Boardwalk Hall and sit and listen to a few pieces played on that organ when we had a stay in Atlantic City a couple of years ago. It was amazing! The organist had a 'helper' who turned the pages and seemed to be operating some switches.
Here are a few of my photos. I cant share the video of the guy playing the organ as its too large (too many byes or whatever).
