DH and I are taking advantage of a last-minute opportunity to visit Marble Falls and booked this resort. DH says it appears the resort is on a bluff and was wondering - is there a way to climb down to the water from the resort?

The Texas Hill Country has been our favorite part of Texas since our honeymoon, when we discovered Fredericksburg, so we're looking forward to driving there as well as having breakfast at the Bluebonnet Cafe!

No, it is private property across the highway between the resort and the Colorado River.

There are a number of nearby places to drive to the river bank.

On the plus side, the steep bluff offers nice views of the river valley -- like stadium seating.

Thank you! We are looking forward to a short respite there!

Have fun, we stayed in Lake Travis a few years ago, really liked Texas Hill Country.
