It's in Denarau, so very convenient to the port. Highly recommend booking a few day cruises to the islands - there are many departing from Denarau. Don't waste any time on the main island, go to Mamanuca and Yasawa islands.

Hopefully your Reservation starts the day before your flight arrives. Most flights arrive between 5am and 6am. So if you arrive the same day your Reservation starts you will have to wait until 4pm to check in. Also your Reservation should end the day after your flight home. Most flights leave after 7pm. So if your flight is the same day as your check out (10am) you will have hours to kill after check out before heading to the Airport. Also if you leave the West Coast of the USA on a Thursday night you arrive in Fiji Saturday Morning. International Date Line.
We took a short cruise to a small Island where we spent the day snorkeling. Lunch and beverages were included. We took a longer cruise to one of the better snorkeling reefs and then to another Island for lunch. We Zip Lined. We did an all day tour of the Main Island. This included the Raymond Burr Orchid Garden, Hindu Temple, etc. Remember the Hindu Religion is more modest than most Americans. Women should wear a long skirt to the ankles and top with long sleeves to the wrists. Men should wear pants to the ankles and shirt to the wrists. We also went to the Fiji equivalent of a Hawaiian Luau. All activities will pick you up at the Resort. We took a Taxi into town to grocery shop.
The Beach at the Resort is a non-swimming Beach. Mainly mud. The Resort area use to be a Mangrove Forest. There is a small Adult only pool in the middle of the buildings.
