Hello, we just spent the weekend at Woodloch & had a nice time. A family reunion, 32 of us, all ages and personalities. Good food, (at times it was so plentiful that it was overwhelming), things for everyone to do. Treasure hunt(scavenger), dress up costume (halloween), pool etc. Kept everyone busy. About 3+ hours from home, a nice drive. Pricey, but I guess if you divided numerous hours, (of entertainment possibilities) into the total dollars it would "feel" a little bettter when check out time rolls around.:)

This is a perfect place for a family reunion. Everything is geared toward doing things together as a family. It is not a place where you drop your kids off at camp and spend the day at the pool. The activities are meant to be enjoyed together (such as the family olympics). It is great for an intergenerational trip. We went with my parents and my sister & her kids. There was something for everyone.

I called recently to see if there was a day rate there, since there is a timeshare in Hawley that I can reserve through Royal Holiday. They said it there is a $60 pp/per day day rate that includes lunch. The price is the same for children. It would have cost my family of 4 $240 for the day. My kids loved it there & really wanted to do it, but I decided that was a lot of money.

Is this Woodloch Pines?

If so, I've been there and when I was there it was a privately held resort that had built an addition that they sold as a timeshare (I think maybe 4 buildings i.e. 4 units?)

Is this is one and the same, have they increased the number of t/s units?

Yes. Woodloch pines. I don't believe the op was talking about the timeshare part. To my knowledge there aren't any more timeshares than that.
