I thought I might actually finally get my first SVO unit, but lost to someone who outbid me for $8,200. If so, hopefully it was a TUGGER. I know I've seen them go for slightly above $10,000 a couple months back, but figured with the way the market has been for timeshares that maybe a little over $8,100 might do it. Obviously not since $8,200 won on ebay a couple days ago.

What do you experts think a fair price is now for a 1br WKV EY platinum week?

Is a 2 br Platinum WKV EOY a better value than a 1br EY Platinum at WKV? Goal is to go to WKV during platinum season maybe 1/3 and to WKORV 2/3 during non-peak.

Lots of folks are fans of the EY platinum (larger side so 81,000 SOs) at Kierland. I actually think having an EOY 2BR LO during platinum season is better (works better for me anyway with 2 kids and a family that likes to tag along). It depends on the person but since SO's don't carry over from year to year, I would consider an EOY more. $8200 is a GREAT price for a 1BR EY even in this market. Until recently, TS resale folks had wait lists for this unit to come up on resale, all over $10,000! So if you see one on eBay for less than $9000, I would grab it! Katherine

And what would you pay for a EOY 2BR LO platinum season?
