What are the good timeshare(s) to stay at in Winter Park, CO during the summer? Most of the reviews rated them in the 5 & 6's.

We own at Twin Rivers in Fraser, three miles from Winter Park

The units are clean and have above-average kitchens and bathrooms, in my opinion. The altitude is high in Fraser, which very often has the lowest temperatures anywhere in the country for a given day. I think Pines at Meadowridge is very similar to Twin Rivers, but our resort is quieter, not close to the train tracks. Lionsgate is also pretty nice, so is Silverado.

Twin Rivers is not a resort. We have a clubhouse with two nice hot tubs. The clubhouse is pretty new, less than five years old. The resort is over 25 years old now. The original builder liked dark wood and the dining rooms still have one wall of dark paneling with mirrors. You can look at all of these resorts online by typing in the resort name.org: www.twinrivers.org

We have no air conditioning (no need), and I have seen snow in Fraser in July, not just a skiff of snow, either, a full-blown storm with 8 inches on the ground in the morning. So prepare for all weather. It melts quickly in the late morning.

We've stayed at Indian Peaks twice in the last three years and found it to be quite comfortable. 2BR, 2Ba, full kitchen with lots of room. Each unit has a hot tub inside. There are no activities on site, no front desk, you check in at another site and can use facilities at another resort which requires a trip in the car. We saw deer and fox strolling the property almost every day.
