Oh my goodness.....it has been SOOOOO windy in SE Florida the past few weeks! In fact the wind followed up all around the caribbean on our cruise! At the sales presentation they told us they couldn't even remember ever having this much wind for this long a period.....The waves were so bad no one was swimming; forget snorkeling, etc.
We loved the condo....beautiful facility and VERY nice people/staff....but the wind.......too much!

I agree.
I supposed to stay at Ocean Pointe until 25th, but checked out early and came to Hyatt Coconut Plantation.
Ocean Pointe was so windy, and I saw several teenagers were surfing all day.
Other than heated pool, we had nothing to do.
Hubby was disappointed because fishing never work with wind, tennis and golf are not good with wind either so no one was happy.
I cannot believe that Bonita Springs is so sunny, warmer than Palm beach and most of all... NO WIND!
Went to Hyatt's private beach three days in a row and boys played tennis on clay court each day.
Didn't know that such windy days were unusual at west palm beach. Never been there for x-mas week. Spring time was much better.

We were there At Oceana Palms Thanksgiving week. The corner of the pool area nearest the bar was like a wind tunnel so I moved to the other side and it wasn't as bad. They had to keep the wind curtain closed at the bar/grill all but one day.
Oddly, the beach wasn't nearly as windy as the pool when we were there but the water was too rough to swim.

We were at Ocean Pointe at the end of October and it was very windy also. Rained much of the time too.
