Windows 10 May 2020 update finally ramps up - but nasty bugs remain

My Surface updated sometime on Monday night or Tuesday during the day. Because when I went to use it Tuesday night Office 365 stopped working. None of the icons would open and any document I had saved wouldn't open said it was moved. Tried quick repair, tried online repair. Neither worked. According to my search next step was uninstall and reinstall Office 365. Install would get to 2% and stop. After 2+ hours of google searches I found the answer to why Office wouldn't install, fixed it and finally it worked. About 24 hours lost, but Office is working again. No other explanation as to why Office stopped working except the Windows 10 update. Very frustrating.

Just yesterday I asked if others were having issues. I had 2 friends call asking for either me or my husband to help them as they could not open Office files.
