We've talked about it before - how single-family homes have been bought up for AirBnB and such. The result is that there are no long-term rentals available in Sedona and it has not been looked on favorably in other areas either.
Any investor needs to have reserves to weather these downturns. I guess we will see who was prepared. It might be a good thing though and free up some housing inventory :)

AirBNB properties are flexible. Rather than stays of 2 to 7 nights, AirBNB owners may get requests for 1 to 12 months instead.
As a host, I finally learned to resist accepting a 2-night stay 4 months away. By saying no, I am able to accept a longer term stay that will surely arise.
