I just got an email informing us that we were assigned to a room on the 9th floor (top floor), 80’s series of the Kahili tower. I don't know what the 80's series means, but I can tell from the resort map that the building is the farthest from the ocean. I feel pretty fortunate that we are on the top floor (so no noise above us). I was just wondering if I should feel  or .

(BTW, this is a first for me. I've never been pre-notified of a room location before by any of the resorts we've stayed at. Is this new, or just something they do at KBC?)

I also received advance notice of my room location for my upcoming KBC stay. I don't know if it is a KBC thing only, but it is new since last year.

I'll answer my own question. We are in room 986, which is on the 9th floor in Kahili Tower and boy did we luck out with a great view of both the pool and the lagoon. This was an ocean view room, not ocean front, but it does face the ocean so we see plenty of ocean. We couldn't be happier with our location.

As my young nephew said YEARS ago ... after an hour of convincing him the ocean was nearby ... before he left the lobby of the resort ... "I can see the OCEAN!" was pure happiness .... and I don't think it changes in anyway as we get older.

Glad you got a great view! Enjoy the vacation!
