Heading there in a few weeks, and am wondering if there is WiFi available at this resort? How did you stay in touch while you were there?

Aloha Dave,
KBV has had free wifi for at least our last two (maybe three) annual visits. Reception is not good everywhere. Drop out can be a problem. I learned a bit about placement of the broadcast units at an owners meeting when they still had them. Based on that, for unit G5 (and I presume similarly placed units in each building) I leave the computer on the ironing board just inside the entry door. That location works great. Be sure to bring an extension cord for your power supply as there is no outlet near there.

That's perfect, Jack. Thanks. I'm staying in G5, so that ironing board will be put to good use! :)

I'll be taking my Asus Eeepc mini laptop (legtop?), so size and weight are not a problem. Moving it around the unit will be interesting to see if it finds a good signal in a different area, too.
