Between our cooking more and our eating more, I gained 5 pounds the last 4 weeks. Anybody else gain weight?

A couple of pounds. I'm trying very hard not to eat just from boredom and not to start in on the cookies that dh insists on buying, and baking.

DW is baking cookies... There's 6 dozen (so far)
-- Chocolate with Peppermint Swirls.
-- White Chocolate Chip & Macadamia Nut.
-- Toll House Chocolate Chip.

We're gonna give some as a care-pkg to her son.
But I wonder how they'll translate into pounds.

Yep, too much time on my hands and trying something new whenever I feel like it. I made beanless turkey chili for the first time yesterday and it was a total success!

Homemade chocolate chip cookies was my downfall the first 3 weeks. They are forbidden in our house now, then my wife made brownies this past week, they are now on the forbidden list.

I am afraid to weigh myself :cautious: I have been cheating with some carbs and more sweets :(

Hubby is on a roll with making pizza and bread too. He also made a cake w/cannoli cream and did not use a Boxed cake mix. Trying very hard......but with the weather not cooperating, we are stuck indoors a lot :(

It's kind of my fault. A couple of weeks ago I baked some oatmeal peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, and then some banana oatmeal cookies. There are still a few of the banana oatmeal in the freezer. There are also some Honolulu Cookie Company cookies around that dd had bought to take in to work. Since she's working from home the cookies have stayed home as well.
