Whoo Whoo! I made my first reservation!

Thanks to everyone who has helped at TUG

I purchased at Desert Springs Villas I a few months ago (no where near the incredible ebay bargain reported recently for $3500, but I was happy at the time).

Today I called at 6:00 AM (California time) to reserve New Years week, 2009. I had read horror stories and had a large pot of coffee ready. But I got through on my first call and the Marriott service person was so helpful, answering my many questions. And I scored the week I wanted!

With the new year around the corner, any other suggestions for weeks to reserve next year? I want strong trading weeks as I will probably use the DSV for trading now and just go there on a direct rental other offer.

Great Job!

That wasn't so hard was it. As a fellow Tugger I'll give you a hint. Sometimes the week you want is someone else's second choice. Consequently, they will book the week you want and when their first choice comes along, they will will change their reservation releasing the week you want. So if your first try doesn't come through, keep calling each week and you may still get it.
