That was great. I also enjoyed the music - realized I still remember all the words to "Do not Forsake Me" by Frankie Lane. That at Marty Robbins Gunfighter Ballads were standard fare when I was growing up.
Roy Rodgers and Dale Evans Museum is now in Branson. We haven't visited it yet but probably will some time. I have seen Randolf Scott on some old westerns recently on cable TV. What about Cisco and Pancho, I forgot about those guys. lol
You gotta admit, cowboys are hunks.
I always loved the Statler Brothers, too.
Hard to believe Michael Landon has been gone 17 years already.
And Burt Musgrove and some of those other supporting favs. How great to be reminded of them. Jack Elam was great too.
What a fun site.
Just took "How the West was Won" ( out on DVD) on vacation with us. Enjoyed it a lot. A good number of the stars listed are in the movie, Stewarrt, Fonda, Wayne, Cobb, Peck, Debbie Reynolds. A few others that I probably did not recognize.
While not a "Western" it was a quick history.
