I’m most likely going to look for a week in Kaanapali and wondering between the Westin resorts (North, south and Nanea) and the Marriott resort there which one has the best studio unit if anyone knows

Vistana resorts lockout bedroom are generally an actual studio or one bedroom unit on its own. Usually with cooking capabilities. I have found that the lockout portions in MVC resorts are efficiencies or no better than a hotel room. If I were to ever book a lockout only it would be in a vistana property.

Just to clarify: you can't buy a studio at the Westins - you can buy a 1 bdm. or a 2 bdm. The MF is disproportionately high on the 1 bdm, so the 2 bdm is a better value.
I just checked out of the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Villas Monday. Although I stayed in a 1br, I would have to go with the Westin studio. The studios had full kitchens and excellent views.
