Which DVC resort for one night before a cruise?

I used to print pictures and put them into photo albums. When the kids were in school, pictures were asked for in certain projects/Communion, Holidays, etc. When each one got married, the photographer and videographer (is that a word?) asked for pictures of each growing up/family, etc. The clip put together would be shown at the ceremony. I would print pictures and delete from my iPhone not to have a ton when I finally got a smartphone. The albums were great to look back on, memories, etc.

Today hardly anyone prints anymore. Even if no one asks for pictures, great to take. For our selves, our kids, grandkids. t brings up so many wonderful memories of our past. My daughter twice recently has asked me if I had any pictures of her cheerleading days and just the other day - pictures of our 11 night DCL Med cruise. (for school/she is a teacher's assistant).

So, yes. Take plenty of pictures and videos.

We take photos too, and like you rarely print them. But they’re set as our PC desktop background and screen saver, so we still see and enjoy them!

Update: Took a red eye and arrived at Old Key West this morning at about 6:30 am. Plan was to drop off our bags at the bell hop and walk around to check things out. To our surprise we got a pixie dust as our room was available at 8:00 am.

Love the feel of the resort and the studio is a good size and will work well for just one night. Thanks for the suggestions!

Excellent pixie dust. I know from experience that resorts have an overnight housekeeping supervisor and housekeepers (long story….our room at BWV was not cleaned properly…turned on the oven for frozen pizza…smoke everywhere, fire alarm goes off, security calls, housekeeping comes….then the room phone rings…Reedy Creek Fire Department….we got an alarm from your room….what a night). Anyway, if someone did leave their room in the wee hours of the morning and actually used the app to alert the resort they were leaving, the overnight crew would clean it…unless they had something else to do like clean a dirty oven that set off the fire alarms.
