Between my wife and I, we have quite an assortment of Bonvoy credit cards.
Which are best for paying for an MVC Encore package? We have to pay it off 60 days before checking in, and that's coming up in a few days.
I see Chase can get 17x points, but I'm thinking maybe that's only on spending AT the hotels?

Any help is appreciated.

Correct. 17x is for hotel stays. Because you typically 10x for your hotel stay. And then your multiple for whatever your status is. And then 6x for every dollar charged to the card for Marriott.
So they are pretty much all 6x, correct? Amex or Chase? I have higher status, so we should use one of my cards, I guess.

All of the current offerings (except the $0 fee Bold Card) offer 6X on Marriott purchases. There are some legacy products still in some wallets that no longer accept new applications that only offer 5X.

Status doesn’t matter for the card spend part. Status only affects the elite bonus multiplier for hotel spend.

Bonvoy Boundless (Chase) if you are registered for the spend $7000 through end of September and get 10,000 Bonvoy points, assuming you are registered for the offer.

And yes, I know, only 10,000 BP. My MF’s should be what puts me over.
