We own two weeks in Key West, Christmas and New Years. We would like to exchange into Belize for that same time period in 2009-10 (yes, planning ahead). Is this a reasonable expectation, and if so, which exchange company would give us the best chances? (We do belong to II). Thanks!

I've had an easier time exchanging into Belize with RCI than with II - probably because RCI has more resorts in San Pedro, where I want to be. But II has one of the nicest - Captain Morgan's. It's on Ambergris Caye, but so far out of town that you have to take a boat or long golf cart ride to get there. If your resort has a high quality rating with II, you can probably pull it. I see another one of II's Belize resorts online frequently: Costa Maya Reef Resort. That one is also a ways out of town.
