I looked at the Bargain Basement rules and it looks like "wanted" ads are not allowed there, but I can't seem to find where it is allowed...

Look in the Marketplace. You won't find someone giving away decent size contracts with low MF"s. Those have at least some value.

You might have to be a TUG member to post an ad in the marketplace (not sure if this is for rentals or sales offers or for Want ads as well).

want to buy ads are only posted in the marketplace...it requires membership.

although you can browse all the existing ads in the marketplace without joining.

want to rent ads can be posted in the LMR section provided they fit the requirements, and can also be placed in the marketplace.

neither version cost an ad credit to post in the marketplace for members.

Eh? I did not think I had intimated otherwise... I only stated the rental/for sale requirements of which I knew, with a caveat for that (whether Want ads also require membership) which I was not completely sure.

Brian has clarified this knowledge gap for me.

Chris - I owe you an apology - I misread your post. I'm sorry - I deleted my response.
