I have two weeks that are winter high Red float weeks. I have always requested the dates for Christmas week for both and when I received the confirmations have given them to RCI, normally this is a year out. In reading on the board it would appear that in giving the weeks to RCI so early I may be hurting my exchange trade power. If this is true, when should I give the weeks to RCI? My home resort only exchanges with RCI so I am pretty much stuck with them.

My home resort is a Gold Crown Resort in Reno, NV and my units are studios for 4. I have just requested my 2009 weeks. I can request them 1 year out.
