When booking with bonus points, you cannot walk, so what is the best method to use them?

Well I guess that is good for now. When I get my resale platinum and sell my retail gold, I think I will lose HGVMAX, but probably the only benefit is while I have those bonus points anyway.

and that might be a good reason to keep your gold deed. depends on your travel habits. no reservation fee is extremely valuable. I get it through AI with a bHC deed.

You can test it out, start a reservation and see if there is a reservation fee (it will tell you before you click to finalize reservation).
