My "home resort" is Bonnet Creek. In the future if I use my ARP to reserve a week, which would you think or have found to be easier and for which I can get the most dollars for, a week at THANKSGIVING or a week at CHRISTMAS. I'm not looking to sell my timeshare, just the use of a week (not talking about this year... future years... keeping in mind I will need to reserve the date then "guest" it. Thanks for any thoughts.

I dont have any data to back me up, but I think Christmas, but why not do both?

Your use year can affect your decision. If it is December 31 then if you do not rent your week you will have limited options.

What is your plan if you do not rent the week you reserve? Would you be more willing and able to travel to BC for one of the weeks.

Another thing to consider is that Thanksgiving week requires approximately half the points as Christmas week. I don't know if this impacts the rental prices for that week but your profit potential might be higher for Thanksgiving, or at the least you would be out less if you had to cancel the reservation or use it yourself.

Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks bring in about the same money. Since Thanksgiving week is easier to book and less points to use, I always book that week to rent. Christmas Week requires 224,000 points in a two bedroom and Thanksgiving week requires 112,000 points for a two bedroom.

Three bedrooms bring in the most money during these weeks because of bigger families travel together during the holidays. Three bedrooms have to be booked 11 months out.
