Take the time to Add a picture of your car , google it! So we all know what it looked like,
Describe it if you can, automatic, 3 on a tree , etc

Little fun with the mess going on right now

What was your first car / memory
I paid $575 for mine in 1979

Important cars!
20 years plus if Minivans don’t count
Start 68 Catalina
Loved that car - my first
April gold 400 2 barrel 2 door automatic
That sucker was fast
Drove it to California from Ohio with my dad to visit my brother between signing up for unemployment in 1980 got home in 2 weeks to sign up again
Awesome trip

Also the coolest thing is Pontiac is a Indian tribe and the front emblem is a arrowhead , when you turned on the high beam , with the FOOT switch the dash indicator was a red Indian head with feathers I loved it!

The 4 door is the actual color- it grows on you

Dave

1960 Ford Thunderbird in red. Bought it used for $500 in 1969. Sold it 4 years later for $50. Discovered it had been abandoned on the side of the freeway after that. This picture is close, but I'm pretty sure my car had four doors.

Price? It was a hand-me-down -- my Dad bought it for my older brother, and then when he was in college and got a different car, I got this one in my junior year of high school. Pretty much looked like this picture below, except mine was a bit more of a gold color (this one has obviously been repainted). Fun car for a 17 year old!

My first car: 1969 Toyota Corolla "Sprinter." Two-door with a trunk. Paid $900 for it, early in 1973, in Norfolk, Virginia, during my very, very "poor sailor" days, when I was 19. 4 speed manual on the floor, 1100cc engine. Absolutely a gutless wonder. Drove that puppy everywhere, including all the way to Salt Lake City to get married later that year. This picture is the day I bought it. I was so proud of myself.

My first car was a graduation present from my father. It was a ‘68 4 door Chevy Caprise. It was a nice car, a big boat with a 327 engine.

The first car a purchased was a ‘74 International Scout. I had both of those vehicles at the same time for quite a few years. Good memories.

1973 Toyota Corona Deluxe, bought new before we got married. $2,680. This is the same body color, but the roof was the same ugly green. Loved that car and had it for 12 years.

The first 'wheels' I actually bought with real money was a Matchless 650. I don't remember what I paid, but I workeed it off watching my Sister-in-Law's kids. It was similar to this, but mine was a 'Scrambler' for riding in the dirt.

Ha. I thought I had the only one. That’s why nobody will ever guess the answer to my password hint—“Your first car.”

1962 Pontiac Tempest, “half V8”, 4 on the floor, bought as a graduation present to myself after Engineering school in 1964 . First car I ever owned.
Threw a rod on I-75 driving at an “undisclosed speed” back to Dayton from Cincinnati one night.
The lady in the ad looks a lot like my wife who also was a graduation present. Lasted a helluva lot longer than the car

Cheers
