It looks like I've finally gotten all the perks worked out for our trip in March. We will be staying at the Quarter House in New Orleans. My question is, What is there to see and do there? Has most everything been destroyed from the hurricanes and has it been rebuilt? Should we pack our "grubbies" and be prepared to work? If so, who do we contact? Is there a functioning visitor's bureau or travel commission? Any help and/or information would be greatly appreciated.

From what I gather, A lot of the better restaurants will be open by Feb. If you have been there before you will see a difference. If you have not been there before you will never know what you missed. From what I hear, A few peolpe from these boards will be going to Marti Gra in Feb, Look for there posts when they return both on Tug and on Timeshareforums.
