I have a 1 Bedroom Villa Safari view at Animal Kingdom Kidani for January 27 to February 1. I was hoping my wife would get her vaccine before then but that is looking doubtful. My points expire so I can't cancel. So should I just wait and lose the points or try to rent them on some site? I have never rented and losing the points won't kill me as all my other points for the year have been banked.

I just post on last minute rentals on TUG at 45 days out. There's a price limit of $115/night, but you could look into rebooking as a studio for a longer stay to get more of your annual fees back. Try to rebook for earlier dates, so you can list on TUG next week. If no takers in a week, then rebook for a later date. Of course, holiday weekends are popular, but more points. AKV value/standard studios are low points and easy to rent. Good luck. I only rent to Tuggers or those with a recommendation from a tugger. You could get more renting to public on disboards, etc., but last minute to tuggers has been a low-hassle way to off-load unused reservations.

Thank you. I wish NJ was closer to getting the vaccine to seniors.
