I'm not dissatisfied with VVP but there's no harm in looking. Never thought I'd be comfortable with .013/RCI point but getting out and into something else doesn't seem worth the effort. Are there still TS's under a penny? What resorts are hot on TUG? What are the resorts that are now offering the best value in terms of RCI Points?

Mine are close to 1 cent.
$1,188 for 104,500 Grand Palms Pres Villa (no longer in RCI Points for anyone acquiring this one)
$555 for 54,500 for Foxhills in Mishicot, WI
$838 for 90,800 for Mansfield Country Resort in Australia (Ending soon as a timeshare resort)

Wow, you guys must have reached guru status by now, over 33k posts. Are there any good values out there like VV was, with lots of units and reasonable MF.

I think Grandview still has lower MF's. It's in the same system. Also, check out the Virginia resorts via resale that are VV also. You will find much better MF's than mine.

I don't really understand why you think MF's wouldn't rise above 1 cent per point. Everything goes up, and timeshares go up in cost to own drastically sometimes. Look at the Marriott MF's thread and see the increases we have had.

Still learning! Not a guru. Getting rid of a bunch in favor of a smaller and simpler portfolio.

VV Grandview at Las Vegas are still below 1 cent per point.

Best Ratio MF to Points ratio are the 122K (2 bedroom) and 61K RCI points units (1 bedroom) which carry MF of $910 and $455 respectively. These usually sell for $1K plus, but I see a 61K listed on Marketplace now for $395, which is good value.

Grandview also has 98K (2 bedroom) and 49K RCI points units (1 bedroom) which carry the same MF of $910 and $455 respectively. You can generally acquire these from a few hundred dollars to free. There are a couple of these listed in the free timeshare units now.

If you want access to cheap RCI points, Grandview is amomgst your best options.

NOTE: any Grandview below 49K RCI points for a 1 bedroom or 98K RCI points for a 2 bedroom is not great value given the MF ratio and you can acquire 49K and 98K units for closing costs. Anything below that mark will be difficult to dispose.
