What is the difference between a Mini-Suite and a Studio?

I have a mini-suite which I consider larger than a studio. Can I say it is a 1 bedroom since no system seems to allow me to say Mini-Suite.

I don't want to mislead people but I know my mini-suite is better than a studio.

Thanks.

Welcome to TUG! :hi: You can only call it a one bedroom if it has a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it's a studio.

Thats right. Regardless of how big the unit is, if it doesnt have a seperate bedroom then it is considered a studio.

Call it a large studio, because that's what it is. A studio is a unit with some kitchen facilities and no distinct sleeping area. Sometimes there is a divider that can be pulled across the sleeping area for privacy, but even those units are called studios.

Since this is the Exchange Board, I am guessing that the OP is asking if he can deposit his mini suite as a 1 bdm. There is no way to designate a "large studio" when you deposit it.

I have seen some units at San Luis Bay Inn advertised as studios and some as mini suites but I believe they are exactly the same.

The resort and exchange company will determine what your unit will be in their system. My studio/loft is considered a 1 bedroom with II.
