Beats me. I tried it years ago, didn't like it, and got rid of it. Back then I hardly ever used a phone to connect here, but did use a tablet and just didn't see any reason to use Tapatalk. With the bbs software now being responsive to screen size, I guess I've never felt the need to experiment with Tapatalk again.

IMO it is a better user experience on my iPhone than using Safari or Google as my browser and going to the BBS web site

For me, I only used it when I wanted to include an image from mobile, but it looks like the mobile web version of the BBS now makes that easy. I guess it would be helpful if you had multiple different BBSs that you read regularly and want to keep in one place, but I just go to each one separately.

The layout in Tapatalk makes it easier for me to read and, as Sarah said, it organizes the multiple forums where it is really easy to navigate them. However, for the past couple of weeks, whenever a post appeared from someone on my ignore list, it would just display a blank white screen and wouldn’t display any subsequent posts at all. I just deleted and reinstalled the app and it is working fine now. I will use both and the recent update did improve the web version of the site quite a bit. I’m usually on my iPad but I also use my iPhone occasionally. I rarely ever use my Macbook for TUG.
