There is a TUG thread started in 2015 when HICV bought Silverleaf . Lots of good information in it and some other similar threads .
Put Silverleaf in the "search " bar and you will find them .
You may wish to " conversation" owners who posted but are not regularly visiting TUG .

I believe HIVC sales wants Silverleaf fixed week owners to "upgrade" to HICV points
Some who did mentioned BIG jump in MF that was not disclosed in sales presentation .

Ok I will try to find that link. If there are any original "weeks" owners that would be interested in getting rid of their "weeks" maintenance fees and we would be able to transfer for same maintenance fee, we might be interested. You can PM me or just respond here. Thanks

At most Silverleaf resorts MF will probably be on the rise for the next 2-3 years even for those that stay in weeks as HICV is upgrading most units to "bring them up to HICV standards'" With the cost involved to convert I am surprised as man Silverleaf owners have converted but some have. Most have not. Many silverleaf owners are locals who bought primarily for the bonus time reservation. In terms of what type of unit you stay in, it depends on what type of unit you own.

What is the Bonus time reservations. Do you think if you buy a "weeks" Silverleaf timeshare the maintenance fees will go up? Or are they fixed? Thanks- trying to get educated if we should buy etc.:).

Mf's are never fixed anywhere. They go up every year. The question always is how much will they go up.
This is an explanation I found on bonus time. https://sites.google.com/site/silverleafescape/home/bonus-time
I believe week days are still free and weekends are $59. You can only book the same size and type accommodations that you own when using bonus time.

REPLY FROM FORMER HOLIDAY INN CLUB VACATIONS SALES REP.

DO NOT BUY POINTS. The company belongs to IHG and they are in business to make a profit at your expense. They will attempt to convert with a charge. If you convert, you lose your guaranteed vacation and might hear "no availability." Also, there are additional fees attached that will continue to go up. Of course, this is normal for any business with inflation, but it should be in your best interest. It usually isn't.

Also, as a warning, DO NOT buy into any of their new resorts as they are old Silverleaf Resorts. POS. Unless they agree to upgrade them.

ee and bonus times have fees now, $25 on sun-th, $75 on fr and sat.

I may have a unit for sale, can definitely give you tips. bonus time may or may not be transferrable.
