What if I sold all my full HGVC and kept affiliates?

This is what I am wondering. Currently, I have one main HGVC account and 2 affiliate accounts. Does anyone here have experience with only owning affiliates? I am wondering if my main account will go poof if I sold all my HGVC and only kept the affiliates.

At this time, I transfer my affiliate points to the main account and the main account is the only account that I can book anything from. The other 2 accounts are like holding tanks and don't seem to have the ability to use RCI or anything else. I am sure I can transfer points between the 2 affiliate accounts by calling HGVC, but since neither appear to have RCI, does that mean I can only use HGVC points and not do other things like RCI, hhonors, etc?

My affiliate account logs in and looks just like a regular HGVC account. I always transfer the points over so they're combined but if I didn't, I can't see the difference

Thanks, Buzz. I just looked at one of them and it looks fully functional now. It must have not been totally ready when I looked at it before.

Now, I am wondering about an RCI exchange I have for next year. If that account goes poof, I assume I need to buy myself a guest certificate. Seems a bit risky, so I may hold off listing that one until check in. I guess I should look in my alternate accounts and see if it shows up in those accounts, too.
