There are currently four Grande Ocean rental offerings for next July on Redweek ranging between $3,000 and $3,200. That's about the median range of what I usually see. With patience and good timeshare negotiating skills, you can probably (eventually) get a week for about $2,200.

If the OP is wanting to rent out their week. I am thinking they would want it the other way around?

Grande OCean Rental rates

This year I was able to get $2500 for an OCEAN SIDE unit the last week of July and last year I got $2400 for the first week of August. Definitely more inquiries last year than in 2008 but I was able to rent it about 4 weeks out for what i thouhgt was a good rate. I suspect you could get a $2200 rate if someone could not rent their unit and it was getting close to occupancy date but I think your planning would be limited. If people have stayed at MGO before or have heard about it from friends, most will take a reasonable deal for a prime summer week without (although they may try) negotiating. Ebay and Craigs List are the absolute WORST places to try and rent your unit...people there are only bargain hunting

Marriott is asking $540 per night from next July 11-18. That should give you an idea of the most you would have to pay. Of course you'd also get free maid service each day.;)
