I got a call last night from a woman who said she was calling from "Wyndham in Florida." She said since we had stayed with Wyndham back in May (an exchange into Wyndham Grand Desert in Las Vegas), we were "entitled to receive a very special vacation offer." She said, (I loved this part), "If you'll put your wife on the other phone, I can tell you both all about it." (Ooh, clever, clever girl...
)
I stopped her, and explained that I own several timeshares, and all my vacation time is obligated for the next two years. I said I wouldn't be able to use any more vacation time, "but thanks for calling." She sputtered a bit, but finally said, "Oh. Ok. Bye" and she hung up.
I got to thinking about it afterwards, and got to wondering what it was she would have offered us. Does anyone know what "Wyndham in Florida" is pushing in their telemarketing calls these days? I'd really like to know.
Thanks,
Dave
