I see points that have passed fist right of refusal but I can’t see weeks what could we get for grand vista gold weeks. We have one even and one odd and a cypress harbor week every year. Elects for 1950 or 1925 so not sure the season. Can’t find its paperwork

Sounds like a Grande Vista Gold and Cypress Harbor Sport season weeks. You may be able to sell these for a few hundred dollars each or give them away easily in the Free Timeshares forum here on TUG. Marriott would probably also take these back on deed back.

Ok thank you! Yes Marriott offered a deedback and said we could only list our every year but that one is platinum. We want to keep that as we use it. We want to sell a few of our lowered values weeks we convert to points each year

While they may have low value points, Grande Vista still works as a fantastic trader in II. That one should be easy to get rid of. Cypress Harbor not being lock offs will be harder. Cypress Harbor may require deeding back to get rid of it.

IMO if they offered a deed back for all the weeks and are not requiring you to pay the 2025 fees, I'd take it in a heartbeat if you want out of them. For the CH & Gold GV I think you'll be lucky to get out of them selling privately. Might get $1000 at most for the EOY Platinum weeks. All of that assumes you sell them yourself such as on TUG or redweeks.

Ok thank you. We had already elected for 2025 so it would be effective 2026 I guess. Better than keeping them I guess

I'd either use or rent the points then get it done if it were me and I wanted to be rid of them. Not worth fooling with since $1500 in pocket for all 3 weeks is about the ceiling I believe. You could also offer on TUG for free buyer paying closing and transfers.

I gave back a Grande Vista Gold to MVC. The MFs were higher than the points MFs. Rented with RedWeek and couldn't even cover MFs. I was tired of playing around with it every year.

These are selling on eBay for less than closing costs.

Edit: Here’s a MGV gold week 2 bedroom from a reputable eBay seller with a buy it now price of $19 with free closing costs. I think it’s a repost and hasn’t sold a few times.

I wouldn't be surprised if the OP hasn't received some PMs at this point.
I agree, and it's why I delete/edit/lock these types of threads. Better late than never. :)

Also note that if you sell or give away, recipient cannot elect them for Club points.
