What can be done with 240 LCUP expiring points?

A friend of mine has 240 LCUP points that expire end of Jan 2012 and can be used 60 days out, as I understand. She can't go anywhere, and neither can I, in the next few months. Can she do anything else with these before they expire? I listed them for rent in the rentals forum, are there any other options? Thanks for any insight!

Not much. Silver season studio long weekend. I think your rental board listing for $280 for a 3 night fairly low season unit is overly optimistic, these points are distressed.

There will be few properties that even have silver season studios between now & Jan: right now there are only a few available weekend stays at Wild Oak Ranch and midweek stays at Wild Oak, Pinon Pointe and Hacienda del Mar (but no one is flying to Puerto Rico for just 4 days).

You should consider asking more like $100-$150 for these points.
