What can a small 64k CWA account do?

Likely the smallest account I can find but also cheap to maintain. I am curious what this small amount of points can do. Can I also rent points from others as needed?

I don't think it can do much, even the 4 day stay I did this year in a 2BR was 79,000. So you're looking at probably 3 days at best. I also am not aware of any points rental system for Wyndham.

You can probably do 5 week days in a 1 BR in Prime time at most resorts. You may even get 6 nights in lower seasons. You can't rent points from others. You can rent reservations from others and use a guest cert for additional time but you would be treated the same as if you weren't an owner on those reservations.

No last minute deals for 20-30k ish or getaway cash deals? I wonder if Wyndham dumps all extra inventory into RCI instead of holding them for owners first.

If you don't own any other Wyndham, the program fee will be abnormally high. And would they even award a housekeeping credit?

It sounds like you would be better served with a Grandview triennial ownership and use the RCI cash Extra Getaways.

Yeah I already picked up a GrandView points EOY, still waiting for its transfer. I can see people exchange into Wyndham frequently and I have a couple of locations in mind such as Smoky mountains. Was curious if a small Wyndham account has any advantage of picking up extra inventory before they dump into RCI. I feel WorldMark is serving their owners pretty well in this case.

Wyndham saves the discount for VIP retail owners. Everything within 60 days of check in 15-60% discount depending on vip level. When wyndham has a glut of inventory they will extend 15-30% discount for everyone (although still sometimes weekday inventory only). But while it may be possible to score off season Williamsburg and Branson for 20,000-30,000 points, you still only get a single hk credit at 64k. Those cheap reservations would still cost you a minimum of $175 each on top of the points after your 1st reservation of the year.

Make sense. Basically there is no good play for small Wyndham accounts.

I'm not even sure you'd get one HK credit. They don't round up in other situations.
Everybody gets at least 1 of HK and RT. It's the only place where they essentially round up.
