What are points worth at other resorts this year?

We are considering joining RCI just so we can deposit or "unusable" week (due to the virus). We were told that we'd get 10 points for depositing it. Realistically, what will those 10 points do for us if we try to reserve at a resort (or even the same one) later in the year when/if the pandemic hysteria settles down? (I understand how membership fee/exchange fee works already. I'm specifically wondering how valuable 10 points will be.)

I would check depositing with Daelive. They don't charge a membership fee like RCI and you have 2 or 3 years to make a reservation against your deposited week. Also there exchange fees are less than RCI's.

10 points is not a lot. A moderately popular resort would be 20 or more.
