I see there is Kahului Airport and I noticed there are 3 airports on Maui. Which one has the best fly in rates?

If you're flying from outside the state of Hawaii, the only airport that realistically works is Kahului (OGG). The Kapalua airport only has small interisland flights that currently use single-engine airplanes (Mokulele Airlines, maybe?). The third airport is the one in Hana, and I don't know if there are scheduled airline flights into it. It would be very far from the resort areas.

Kahului is the main airport - the other two are small regional airports. I don't think they have direct flights from the mainland.

It's great fun to watch them coming in to land at JHM (West Maui). They really rock'n roll:)

Correct. Kahului (OGG) is the only one with runways long enough for mainline jets.

West Maui-Kapalua used to have service from HNL by Island Air in Dash 8 twin turboprops but it looks like that was discontinued and now Mokulele Air's inter-island service using Cessna Caravans is all there is. Hana is for private/general aviation aircraft only. No scheduled airline service of any kind.
