Why isn't Equivest Vacation and Travel Club mentioned in the Wyndham board description? I guess TUG is treating us as an orphan/stepchild, just as Fairfield, Cendant, and now Wyndham have.

If Equivest ought to be added to the description, it can be. I was under the impression that Equivest had been folded into the Fairfield operation. Does Equivest still operate under its own name? Educate us.

From what I have read, I think it would be fair to say Equivest is the ugly stepchild at this point. Fairfield took some of the resorts (Newport, Berkshires) and put them into Fairshare Plus. As for the others, most times I read about them I hear people are very unhappy.

I would love it if I were mistaken, and there are a lot of very happy Equivest "points" users out there.

I know PepperTree AtlanticBeach is managed by Fairfield although you will not see their inventory in FF's FSP program or FAX program (old FF week exchange program). I maybe wrong but I believe the EVTC is still operate under the name of Equivest, but Fairfield is the manage company. Just like Shawnee. Since the WM is in the description, I guess maybe the EVTC should also.

Equivest Vacation and Travel Club still operates under its own name. It has not, and according to Fairfield, Cendant and now Wyndham, it will not be integrated into Fairfield. In addition, there are former deeded weeks owners of Equivest/Peppertree Resorts that are managed by Fairfield/Wyndham. While these resorts have been rebranded Fairfield in many instances, the interval owners at most of these resorts do not have the ability to convert to Fairfield points or exchange internally within the Fairfield network.
