Awww. That time of year.

It’s time for those beautiful Christmas displays.

My regular favourite are the displays in the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Every year they just out do themselves!

I’m kicking myself on not finding my photos (where are they darn it) but here is one I found on the net.

If you want to check out this year’s amazing display, it’s located here:

So, what displays do you really enjoy every year? Hopefully, it’s while timesharing.

Earler today I saw a tour of Rolf's German restaurant in Manhattan. The decorations blew me away. My favorite local display is at the Mission Inn. My request for my 60th birthday (Dec. 30th) was two nights there. It was magical! (And memorable, having my birthday dinner in their fancy dining room with Cliff in his pajama top -- he'd forgot to pack a shirt, but luckily his sport jacket was tweedy brown/beige and his jersey pajama top was brown, so looked like he had a light sweater on).

In someone's dark yard, there's a little manger display with Christmas songs
from hidden speakers. It's not flashy, just tastefully done, and entertaining.

But it's the houses with Santas, sleighs & reindeer on the roof that get attention.

NYC's Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree (and immediate area) is pretty hard to beat....there's a lot more than just the tree.
It's truly magical!
We've been there the week before Christmas two separate times, and there's nothing like it. It snowed one of those weeks.
Beautiful & festive displays everywhere, and elaborate window boxes at major iconic stores will dazzle & amaze.
Rockefeller Center, however, stands out!

Nothing like NYC at XMAS. Unfortunately, there’s also nothing like the crowds in NYC at XMAS either.

To us, that makes it even better. It's Christmas. There are concerts in the street...we saw Rihanna perform once
with a stage set up at a random intersection, and it was awesome.......the more the merrier.
It definitely made the city come alive, and that memory has endured. We saw the Rockettes Christmas Show at Radio City,
saw a couple of plays-- Wicked and Phantom of the Opera---- ducked in and dined at some awesome restaurants, all on the fly,
and that was fun too.
Bought scarves at the street corners, shopped everywhere, got hot chocolate at Times Sq Starbucks while watching the snow fall.
Walked in Central Park while it was snowing ---watched the throng of skaters.
It was surreal. Walked everywhere, saw everything.
Our heads were still spinning when we returned home, but we loved every minute, and truly missed it!

I came home and made a calendar using many of the pictures. It's a keeper.
Gave two calendars to each child, and they still have them hanging in their homes.....
