This is not the correct forum, but I was unsure where to post.
A friend is going to undergo a 12 hour HIPEC procedure at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston FL which may save his life.
Before I offer to find a timeshare where his wife could stay, what would be the least expensive way to book time at one of the timeshares?
I have never seen anything advertised for less than a week. If you do RCI even last call, the guest fee brings the total up significantly. At this point I don't know if a week would be necessary, they live about two hours away. Right now I just want to find out options, before I bring it up with her.

They might already have hotel reservations. That's probably the least expensive, least hassle, and best proximity to the treatment facility.

While it's really nice of you, trying to make those arrangements could add more stress to an already difficult situation.

three weeks later, they are still at the timeshare in Weston Florida. i don't know how it worked out, but their friend has been able to book them all this time. After the ten hour surgery, which the doctor said was successful, our friend did not wake up for a week! now another week later, they have released him to the timeshare where he is getting home health care until he is well enough to drive home.
I am so happy they are in a comfortable setting rather than a hotel room.

Just so you know, there are two or three timeshares there that are almost always available via RCI last call...

Fitzpatrick's Castle Holiday Homes,

I have heard that the Weston resorts allow up to eight week rentals. I met a woman there who spends eight weeks each year in the winter there. Hope your friend gets well soon!
