Westin Villa Kaanapali North Owner's Update Worth it?

I am going to my timeshare at the Westin Villa Maui and I got a call asking me to schedule my owner's update presentation which they said would take 1.5 hrs. Is this something that I need to do? Will this just be another sales pitch? Is it worth attending? I'd much rather spend it on my vacation without attending so for those that have attended, what happens during this presentation?

sorry I did a search and didn't find any. So as an owner I don't have to attend correct? They make it seems like I have to attend or else I'm in trouble.

They get paid if they convince you to attend… which really should tell you all you need to know! Enjoy your vacation stress free by *not* going to their sales meeting!

You do not have to attend. It's a hard sell that you can avoid by just saying no.

We haven't been to one of these in nearly a decade.
